ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Sarah. I am a BACP registered therapist, specialising in children, young people and their families.

My work is based on a deep respect for people and I am committed to empowering you to explore your own understandings and make your own choices. I emphasis the importance of dialogue, connection and relationship in all of my work.

As a person-centred integrative practitioner, I will work with you empathically and creatively, using arts- based techniques that have been individually tailored to you.

I have 20 years experience working with children and young people, as a lecturer at Exeter University, CIC advocate, teacher, and SENDCO, working with schools, therapeutic fostering agencies, and CAMHS

I am trained to Masters level in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents, and Families from Roehampton University, and I currently hold the role of therapist at Kingsbridge Community College, The Apricot Center, Dartington, and Child in Care Advocate at Torquay Academy.

I hold the highest level of safeguarding training- L3 Designated Safeguarding Lead, and have an enhanced DBS.

I welcome private clients, so please contact me to see how we can work together.
